Supporting caregivers and their dogs with behavioural challenges
Supporting You Through Your Dog’s Behaviour: Living with a dog who struggles with reactivity, fear, anxiety or frustration can leave you feeling overwhelmed and unsure where to turn.
I’ll help you look beyond the behaviour and understand what your dog is communicating and why they may be struggling.
Together, we’ll explore their individual needs, triggers and emotions, while developing practical strategies to help them feel safer, build confidence and cope better with everyday life.
Understanding the why helps us discover the how.

Helping and managing issues, building caregiver and dog's confidence, supporting you through rough and challenging times, managing behavioural issues, and the list goes on...

Every dog is an individual, and every behaviour has a reason. My approach is about taking the time to understand your dog, their behaviour and what they may be communicating.
Living with a dog who is worried, reactive, anxious or struggling to cope can sometimes feel overwhelming. You don't have to have all the answers. I am here to listen, support and guide you without judgement, giving you practical ways to move forward together.
Rather than focusing only on the behaviour we can see, I look deeper at what may be contributing to it. We explore your dog's emotions, communication, experiences, environment, physical comfort and individual needs. Understanding the why gives us a much better starting point for helping your dog.

My approach is kind, ethical and choice-based. There is no force, punishment or pressure to make your dog behave in a certain way. Instead, we create opportunities for them to feel safer, build confidence, develop skills and make positive choices at a pace they can cope with.
A big part of my work is helping you understand what your dog is telling you. The more you recognise their communication and understand their behaviour, the better equipped you become to support them. Ultimately, my aim is to help you both feel more confident, connected and able to enjoy everyday life together.
After our initial talk and before we meet, you’ll be asked to complete a detailed behaviour questionnaire.
This gives me valuable insight into your dog’s history, everyday life, behaviour and individual needs, allowing me to start building a clearer picture before your consultation.
Your two-hour online consultation gives us time to really get to know you and your dog and understand what may be behind the behaviours you’re seeing.
Together, we’ll explore what your dog is finding difficult and what they need to feel more comfortable and confident, using a kind, supportive and choice-based approach every step of the way.
Your three in-person or online sessions will be organised at this time.
After our consultation, you’ll receive a personalised behaviour report with clear recommendations and practical, evidence-based guidance tailored to you and your dog.
You’ll have access to your consultation recording and a veterinary report to share with your vet if needed. helping everyone work together to support your dog moving forward.
You’re not on your own between consultations. I’ll continue to support you through email and WhatsApp, giving you a place to ask questions, share your progress and talk through anything you’re unsure about. If you need a little extra help along the way, support calls are also available for guidance and reassurance.
These will be one-hour online or in-person sessions and will be booked at the same time as your Online Consultation.
Online Access to "Human End Of The Lead" chat.
The three sessions give us time to catch up, celebrate progress, talk through any challenges and make changes to your dog’s plan as their needs develop. I will also show you any practical games in person.
If you feel you need a little more support along the way, further consultations can be booked at a reduced rate.
When needed, I’m also happy to work alongside your dog’s veterinary team, helping us build a more complete picture and provide the right support for your dog.
