Challenges are a natural part of living with a dog, and sometimes they can leave you feeling overwhelmed or unsure. I’m here to provide knowledge, understanding and practical support, helping you understand your dog, build confidence, strengthen your relationship and work through challenges together.
How Can I Help You?
Before we explore caring for and training your dog, we first need to understand them. This means recognising what they’re communicating, when they’re not coping, why behaviours happen and where training should begin. This section gives you the knowledge to see the world from your dog’s perspective and support them.
Tailored sessions designed around you and your dog’s individual needs. Looking at the whole dog, we explore their behaviour, physical and emotional wellbeing, environment and experience challenges. Sessions begin where your dog feels safest and progress at their pace, helping you understand their behaviour and build confidence, so you can move forward together. A free 30-minute discovery call is available.
Training is about giving your dog practical skills to help them confidently manage everyday life. From walking together, settling calmly, to recall and making positive choices, training should build communication, trust and understanding. By working at your dog’s pace, we can create skills that are useful, achievable and enjoyable.

I have a 2 year old rescue skittish border collie boy and wanted to develop my bond with him to help him settle and start behaviour training. The training is fun, very varied and extremely informing together with an additional online lesson in behaviour I understand my dogs anxieties and excitement levels so much more. Maria and the team are very friendly, personable and really care about everything they do with the dogs and their humans. Looking forward to the next chapter.

She is a fabulous dog trainer and really takes the time to talk about how the dogs brain works so you can better understand your furry friend. All training is undertaken with a gentle approach.
